Are you a Design Manager with an mechanical background and experience delivering data centre projects on site? We're looking for someone to play a pivotal role in the successfuldesign and delivery of one of the most complex and high-profile projects in our portfolio – based from our project team office in Bicester
.

• Be at the heart of a technically advanced data centre project
  , overseeing electrical design coordination and integration from concept through to completion.

• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary design teams, contractors, and client representatives to drive high-quality design outcomes.

• Influence innovation, sustainability, and constructability through Laing O'Rourke's industry-leading digital engineering and offsite manufacturing capabilities.

We’d love to hear from Design Managers who have:

• A degree in Mechanical
  Engineering (or a related discipline), ideally with Chartered Engineer status.

• Proven on-site delivery experience within data centres or other mission-critical environments.

• A strong understanding of design governance, risk management, and change control processes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – comfortable collaborating across design, client, and delivery teams.
