Facade Engineer

We’re partnering with a leading façade contractor renowned for delivering technically advanced, high-performance, and energy-efficient building envelopes. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking a Façade Engineer with thermal engineering expertise / experience to play a key role in the design and delivery of next-generation façade solutions.

About You

* You have proven experience in façade engineering or a strong background in thermal or building physics engineering with a clear interest in façades

* Strong understanding of heat transfer, insulation systems, condensation risk, air tightness, and thermal bridging

* Ability to balance innovative façade design with performance requirements, regulatory compliance, and practical buildability

* Confident communicator, able to explain complex thermal performance issues clearly to designers, clients, and site teams

The Role

* Design, analyse, and develop high-performance façade and envelope systems with a primary focus on thermal and energy efficiency

* Carry out thermal modelling, dew-point analysis, and condensation risk assessments to support compliant façade solutions

* Prepare and review technical calculations, reports, specifications, and design substantiations across all project stages

* Work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver coordinated and buildable designs

* Provide technical input during design development, tender, and construction, supporting issue resolution and value engineering

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of façade standards, details, and performance benchmarks within the business
