Facade Designer

We re partnering with a leading façade contractor renowned for delivering technically advanced, high-performance, and energy-efficient building envelopes. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking a Façade Engineer / Facade Designer ideally with thermal engineering expertise / experience to play a key role in the design and delivery of next-generation façade solutions.

About You

• You have proven experience in façade engineering or Design ideally with a background in thermal or building physics engineering.
• An understanding of heat transfer, insulation systems, condensation risk, air tightness, and thermal bridging
• Ability to balance innovative façade design with performance requirements, regulatory compliance, and practical buildability
• Confident communicator, able to explain complex thermal performance issues clearly to designers, clients, and site teams

The Role

• Design, analyse, and develop high-performance façade and envelope systems with a focus on thermal and energy efficiency
• Prepare and review technical calculations, reports, specifications, and design substantiations across all project stages
• Work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver coordinated and buildable designs
• Provide technical input during design development, tender, and construction, supporting issue resolution and value engineering
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of façade standards, details, and performance benchmarks within the business
