Structural Engineer; Facades

Position: Structural Engineer (Facades) (Permanent)
We’re partnered with a leading façade contractor renowned for delivering technically advanced, high-performance building envelopes. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking a talented structural façade engineer / Designer to play a key role in the design and delivery of next-generation façade solutions.

About You:

* Proven experience in façade engineering or façade design, ideally in a structural façade engineer capacity.

* Strong understanding of structural principles, load transfer, and façade systems.

* Ability to balance innovative façade design with performance requirements, regulatory compliance, and practical buildability.

* Confident communicator, able to explain complex structural issues to designers, clients, and site teams.

The Role:

* Design, analyse, and develop high-performance façade and envelope systems as part of a specialist structural façade engineer function.

* Prepare and review technical calculations, reports, specifications, and design substantiations across all project stages.

* Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver coordinated and buildable designs.

* Provide technical input during design development, tender, and construction phases, supporting issue resolution and value engineering.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of façade standards, details, and performance benchmarks within the business.
