Senior Quantity Surveyor

Due to an increase in allocated work, a leading civil engineering and utility contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on energy projects across London. This is a hybrid working role with the Senior QS expected to work in the Dartford office three days per week.

Location:

Dartford, England – hybrid (in‑office 3 days per week).

• Manage several schemes on a utility framework with a combined value of £20 million. Project works are power‑related and include the installation of cable ducts on a large scale (over 20 km) to the refurbishment/fit‑out of existing assets and new sub‑station construction.
• Report to the commercial manager; duties include subcontract management, cost reporting and cost reconciliations.
• Provide a varied QS role within a well‑established contractor with healthy order books for the next few years.

• Educated to HNC/BSc in Quantity Surveying and able to demonstrate experience working on civil engineering, utility or ideally power projects in the UK.
• Excellent understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
