Financial Controller

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join Lügentour
, an established manufacturing company in North Kent.

The role reports to the CFO and supervises a small Finance team, providing leadership amid significant organisational change and financial challenges.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll accounting.
• Manage internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Develop and maintain standard costing systems.
• Analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Analyse production costs and margins.
• Support capacity planning and capital expenditure budgeting.

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance processes and reporting.
• Cost accounting experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage financial controls, compliance, and budgeting processes.
• Relevant accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3‑8 years PQE.

£120,000 base salary plus an excellent bonus and additional benefits.
