Finance Manager (Immediate Start) stand alone role
Location: Daventry
Start Date: ASAP - January 5th 2026!
Contract Type: Full-Time - hybrid office based

Day Rate £300 - £400 PAYE Inside IR35
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager with strong experience in accounting and a proven track record in the manufacturing sector. We are looking for an individual with expertise in statutory accounts, VAT compliance, and advanced Excel skills to join a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and production of annual statutory accounts.
- Oversee the year-end financial closing process.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to assist in decision-making.
- Monitor and report on UK VAT, as well as awareness of overseas VAT implications.
- Data manipulation and reporting using advanced Excel.
- Utilise an integrated ERP system for financial processes.
- Provide ongoing support and advice to senior management regarding business performance and financial strategies.
- Ensure financial compliance and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACMA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
- Experience in an industry (preferably manufacturing) environment.
- Experience in the production of annual statutory accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of UK VAT and a basic understanding of overseas VAT reporting requirements.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Strong telephone manner and ability to communicate effectively.
- Confidentiality in all matters and professionalism at all times.
- Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of the role of financial information in decision-making.
- Excellent time management, organisation, and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team.
- A flexible and cooperative attitude with an assertive yet calm demeanour.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to handle complex data.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
- Approachable and professional with strong interpersonal skills.
