Occupational Health Advisor

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to deliver class‑leading service for case management, health surveillance, health screening, and health promotion to our clients.

This is a permanent, site‑based role with two days on site in Daventry
. The position is supported by a dedicated team of Occupational Health Nurses, Doctors, Technicians and Advisors.

About The Team

The RPS Occupational Health business is a group of clinicians focused on promoting and maintaining good health in the workplace. We undertake risk‑based health surveillance, wellbeing, health screening and case management. We value a culture of trust, respect and collaboration, aiming for quality over quantity and limiting case‑management assessments to six per day for manageable workloads.

About You

As a key member of the Occupational Health business, your role as Occupational Health Advisor is critical to helping our clients manage health and wellbeing solutions. You will deliver consultations covering fitness for work, absence management, and employee assistance programmes. You should be passionate, problem‑solving, and value teamwork and individual recognition.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive Occupational Health provision to client companies
  • Coordinate defined Occupational Health activities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Prevent adverse health effects from workplace activities through specialist skills and knowledge
  • Maintain personal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to uphold NMC registration
Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
  • Experience in all aspects of OH service delivery, including health service delivery, case management, health surveillance and screening procedures such as audiometry, spirometry, and skin management
  • Willingness to undertake personal CPD to maintain NMC registration
  • High degree of self‑motivation and management
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Office suite
  • Strong team player capable of leading by example
Qualifications
  • Registered General Nurse with a post‑registration qualification in Occupational Health at Certificate, Diploma or Degree level
  • Current UK driving licence
