Data Analyst

We have been asked to recruit a Data Analyst for a company based in Daventry.

This is a newly created position to support business operations.

You’ll be managing, manipulating, and transforming data across complex server‑based and cloud‑based platforms.

What they need is someone who has experience in data cleansing, collection, manipulation, interrogation, migration, and validation.

You will also need to have proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data manipulation tools (e.g., Power Query, Python, R, ETL tools).

• Perform data cleansing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Carry out data interrogation to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee ongoing data maintenance across systems and sources.
• Execute data manipulation to prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Conduct data validation to guarantee alignment with business rules and quality standards.
• Build and maintain a centralized data ecosystem that provides a reliable single source of truth.
• Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and analytics using BI tools.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
• Lead and support data‑focused projects from scoping through delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, processes, and system changes.
• Produce clear project documentation and maintain consistent stakeholder communication.
