Overview
Maintenance Engineer – Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: £48,000
Contract:
Permanent
Location:
Daventry, Northamptonshire
Shifts:
Earlies, Mon – Fri (5:30am – 2:00pm) – 40 hours/week
- Full Christmas shutdown – 2 weeks
- Flexible early finish on Fridays when production targets are met
- Salary sacrifice scheme with option to buy up to 5 additional holidays
- Site-wide bonus scheme for hitting targets
- Excellent longevity within the team (4 engineers in total; 10/6/2 years respectively)
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery
- Work on mixers, ovens, depositors, conveyors, cutting machines
- Maintain barcode scanners, palletisers, sensors and other equipment
- Operate within a small team of engineers to keep production running efficiently
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial maintenance engineer (60:40 bias preferred)
- Ideally time-served apprenticeship or recognised Level 3 qualification in a maintenance discipline
- Prior experience in the food industry is beneficial
