Manager, Deal Desk – EMEA

At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.

As the first Manager, Deal Desk for EMEA
, you will be a foundational member of our growing global Deal Desk organization, owning the deal review and execution process for the region. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to Sales leadership, helping structure, price, and approve deals that align with Vanta’s business goals while ensuring compliance with company policies and revenue recognition standards.

In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners across Sales, Finance, Legal, GTM Operations, and Systems to streamline quote‑to‑cash processes and enhance deal velocity. You’ll drive operational efficiency, improve deal accuracy, and strengthen the connection between business strategy and execution.

As Vanta scales, you’ll play a critical role in building and maturing Deal Desk processes that can support our growing business models and evolving deal structures, while maintaining operational excellence and accuracy. This is an opportunity to combine strategic influence with hands‑on execution, helping shape the foundation of how Vanta grows and operates at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the Deal Desk function for EMEA, serving as the primary partner to Sales leadership and ensuring deals are structured strategically, compliant with internal policies, and accurately booked.
  • Build strong partnerships with Sales teams and leadership to expedite deals, enhance process efficiency, and position Deal Desk as a strategic advisor earlier in the sales cycle.
  • Review and evaluate deals for policy alignment, compliance, and booking accuracy, managing all aspects of deal execution including pricing, configuration, approvals, and escalation of non‑standard requests.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, Billing, Revenue, Collections, and GTM Operations to streamline quote‑to‑cash workflows, ensure scalability, and maintain alignment across functions.
  • Lead and drive operational improvements – identifying process gaps, implementing scalable solutions, and helping to mature Deal Desk systems as Vanta grows.
  • Support Finance during month‑end close and audits, ensuring all deals are accurately reconciled between systems and the statement of record.
  • Provide analytical insight into deal trends and process efficiency, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Educate and enable Sales teams on process changes, policy updates, and Deal Desk best practices to improve deal velocity and compliance.
  • Represent the Finance organisation in cross‑functional initiatives that support selling activities, product launches, and business model evolution.
  • Be a builder in a fast‑growing environment, proactively developing frameworks, tools, and processes that drive operational excellence and global alignment across regions.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of deal desk experience with at least 3+ years experience as a people leader.
  • Proven relationship builder who can partner effectively with Sales leadership, Finance, Legal, GTM Operations, and other cross‑functional stakeholders across geographies (EMEA and NAMER).
  • Experience across various business models, supporting both subscription‑based and consumption‑based revenue structures.
  • Strong operational and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Builder mindset: comfortable working through ambiguity and maturing processes and systems; proactive in identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and implementing scalable improvements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving ability, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing high deal volumes and tight deadlines during end‑of‑month and end‑of‑quarter cycles.
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to simplify complex…
