Quality Inspector | Allegan, MI
Salary Range: $52,000 – $79,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe collaborate with multiple companies in the Allegan area seeking experienced Quality Inspectors. These organizations value long‑term fit and look for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Usual Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issues.
- Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and equipment.
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished goods against drawings and specifications.
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools to measure parts.
- Record inspection results and complete inspection reports.
- Document defects and flag nonconforming parts for review.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with inspection reports.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines or optical comparators.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Experience with GD&T.
- Knowledge of statistical process control.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or similar certification.
