Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for our group of companies— two in real estate and one in advertising & event management .
This role calls for strong hands-on expertise, structured thinking, and seamless coordination with external consultants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial discipline across businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts for all group companies
Record daily transactions, expenses, invoices, and receipts with precision
Manage bank entries, cash books, and reconciliations
Oversee vendor payments, client collections, and receivable ageing
GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) in a timely manner
Manage TDS deductions, challans, and returns
Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements
Liaise with Chartered Accountants and tax consultants for filings and audits
Real Estate Accounting
Monitor project-wise income and expenditure
Maintain records related to advances, agreements, commissions, and rentals
Support documentation and reporting required for real estate compliance
Advertising & Event Accounting
Track event-wise budgets, costs, and profitability
Manage client invoicing, advances, and vendor settlements
Prepare cost sheets and post-event financial summaries
Reporting & Financial Controls
Prepare monthly MIS reports for management review
Assist in year-end closing and audit processes
Ensure systematic documentation and organised financial records
Provide financial insights and support to management as required
Systems & Tools
Proficiency in Tally (Prime / ERP)
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
Familiarity with GST portals, Income Tax portals, and e-filing systems
Key Competencies
Close attention to detail with a strong accuracy mindset
Ability to manage multiple companies and priorities simultaneously
Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and compliance timelines
Organised, proactive, and process-driven
Capable of working independently while meeting strict deadlines
