Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced AWS Architect to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of cloud-based solutions on Amazon Web Services. This is a fully remote, short-term contract role requiring deep technical expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The AWS Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with business objectives.

Required Qualifications
10+ years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in AWS cloud architecture.
Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, production-grade AWS environments.
Strong expertise in core AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Cloud Watch).
In-depth knowledge of cloud security, networking, identity management, and compliance best practices.

Experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

Experience with multi-account AWS strategies and enterprise-scale cloud governance.
Exposure to containerization, microservices, and modern application architectures.
Prior experience in short-term or consulting-based engagements
