We are looking for a skilled Server Installation Engineer who can handle server hardware installation, configuration, and client coordination. The candidate should be able to guide clients during server setup and resolve installation-related queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and deploy physical servers at client locations or data centers
Assemble server hardware (rack, cabling, RAID, BIOS configuration)
Install and configure operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Coordinate with clients to understand installation requirements
Guide clients during server installation and post-installation process
Handle client queries related to server setup, performance, and basic troubleshooting
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, technical support) for smooth deployment
Perform testing and ensure server readiness before handover
Maintain installation reports and documentation
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Knowledge of server hardware (Dell/HP/Lenovo preferred)
Basic networking knowledge (IP, LAN, switch connectivity)
Client communication and coordination skills
Ability to troubleshoot installation issues
Willingness to work on-site and flexible shifts if required
