Production and Product Delivery Manager

With a successful launch of multiple smartphones in India – HMD Global is planning to expand its team hiring a dynamic  Production & Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities:

Establish, implement and refine policies and processes of customer order priority, supply planning, purchase order, inventory management, master data, etc.
Work closely with EMS and local components’ suppliers to reach consensus on sales forecast, demand plan and new business model execution.
Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to work out reliable production and purchase plans.
Manage supply plan and distribution plan to ensure inventories are planned and deployed into right warehouses with right quantity and right time.
Administrate the entry, issue, and close of purchase orders; coordinate with plants and suppliers to ensure on time supply, shorten supply lead time, and narrow supply variation.
Communicate with Global planning team and suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, service, quality

Background:

Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline
Over 5 years' experience in demand and supply planning management.
Demonstrated experience in managing or developing a strong planning team and delivering best in class performance in customer service, inventory, and cost.
Solid experience in establishing and optimizing process, system, and metrics.
Hands-on experience in ERP and advanced planning tools. SAP preferred.
Consulting experience related to planning, ERP, or inventory management.

Experience of working with China Supply chain and Chinese speaking candidates will be preferred.
