Food Processing Expert – Equity-Based Role

We are building an advanced food & wellness ecosystem at Kefilo , and we are looking for a Food Processing Expert who can take ownership of product quality, safety, scalability, and innovation. This is an equity-based, part-time leadership role as we build our core team before funding.
Equity Setup (Clear 3-Step Summary)
3–4 discussion rounds → 1-month NDA cohort
Performance + ownership during cohort → Cofounder Agreement
Equity unlocks after funding & Pvt. Ltd. registration (5-year vesting)
About Kefilo (Vision & Mission – Short Version)
Kefilo is building a science-backed food innovation ecosystem that merges:
Clean-label products
Smart kitchen operations
AI-driven nutrition intelligence
Safe, scalable, process-oriented food manufacturing
Over the next 6–8 months, our mission is to launch standardized wellness products, develop strong backend systems, build a scalable micro-kitchen model, and create a brand known for trust, safety, and innovation.
Role:
Food Processing Expert — Kefilo
This role requires deep involvement in product development, production systems, standardization, safety protocols, and scalability .
Key Responsibilities
Product Formulation & Standardization
Develop stable, scalable recipes for wellness foods, beverages, and fermented items.
Create SOPs for ingredients, batch sizes, and quality consistency.
Food Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
Implement FSSAI norms, HACCP-based processes, sanitation protocols, and shelf-life testing.
Ensure zero deviation in kitchen/production standards.
Production Planning & Process Design
Build end-to-end production workflows, batch management systems, and inventory structure.
Improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and optimize procurement.
Innovation & New Product Development (NPD)
Lead functional food innovations, healthy ready-to-eat/ready-to-drink ideas, clean-label products, and fermented wellness offerings.
Work with branding team to align product story with science and market needs.
Ideal Candidate
Background in food technology, food science, biotechnology, nutrition, or culinary R&D.
Strong knowledge of food processing, safety norms, shelf-life, and commercial kitchen standards.
Passionate about product innovation and scaling clean-label foods.
Ready to work in an equity-based setup and build a long-term futuristic food brand.
