Component Technician at Heli-One

Heli-One Canada has an opening for a full‑time Component Technician. The successful candidate will carry out assigned work according to the Heli-One Maintenance Policy Manual and our Quality and Safety Standards. They will be able to understand OEM and internal work instructions to repair or overhaul aeronautical products, and maintain required levels of productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize, understand, and follow the instructions of the applicable approved manual used to carry out the tasks assigned.
  • Carry out work in accordance with the Heli-One MPM and other Quality and Safety Standards.
  • Perform repair or overhaul tasks pertaining to the component types being worked on.
  • Maintain required levels of productivity when carrying out repair and overhaul activities.
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Able to use all equipment safely.
  • Help maintain shop tools and equipment in a serviceable state.
  • Comply with and adhere to all company policies.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Post‑Secondary Certificate / equivalent training.
  • AMO accredited training specific to Heli‑One.
  • MRO experience in aviation, preferably on helicopter products such as Sikorsky, Leonardo and Airbus.
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑driven with a focus on quality, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make good decisions and set appropriate priorities.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
  • Willing to accommodate flexible working schedules, including shifts and overtime.
  • Additional requirements found in Heli‑One MPM.
