About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team in Delta, BC. This role is a hybrid of physical warehouse operations and system management. You will be responsible for the end-to-end flow of goods—from receiving to shipping—while utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure data accuracy, proper labeling, and inventory control.
Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:
- Inbound & Outbound:
Manage the receiving of shipments and the dispatching of orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Order Fulfillment:
Perform picking, packing, and sorting of goods according to customer orders. - Inventory Control:
Organize stock on shelves, conduct physical inspections, and ensure the warehouse floor remains tidy and safe. - Quality Assurance:
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damages or discrepancies. - WMS System & Data Administration:
- System Operation:
Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) daily to process orders and track inventory levels. - Data Processing:
Manage accurate entry of warehouse data, ensuring physical stock matches system records. - Labeling:
Generate and apply shipping labels, barcodes, and inventory tags accurately. - Reporting:
Monitor inventory discrepancies and assist in reconciling warehouse data.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree, Majors in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or Data Analytics are highly preferred. - Language:
Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English (verbal and written) to coordinate with internal teams and partners. - Experience:
No prior experience is required; entry-level candidates with strong learning agility are welcome to apply;
Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or WMS systems are highly preferred. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with computer systems; experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a strong asset. - Certifications:
Forklift certification is highly preferred (or willingness to obtain one). - Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Probationary Period (3 months): $20.00 - $22.00 CAD / hour
