A vacancy has arisen for a Production Planner to join the production control team based at our Denham site. We offer hybrid working after six months of employment.
What you’ll be doingThis is a varied position, supporting colleagues across the production control team. As Production Planner you’ll develop valuable skills and relationships, driving value through delivering continuous improvement activities, offering the opportunity to influence company‑wide production control and supply chain activities.
Learning the fundamentals of SAP and how this dynamic system is used across the organisation, you’ll deliver production control and analysis tasks across manufacturing functions. Part of the role will take on responsibility for a range of operational metrics and reports, enabling production improvements. You’ll be involved with planning across a specific product group that encompasses manufacturing and shipping processes, understanding how the production control team supports business functions and collaboration with colleagues/stakeholders across Commercial, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Production Engineering and Sourcing functions, related to production control requirements and standards.
Whatwe’re looking for
- Have a STEM or Business degree, or relevant business experience.
- Work or academic experiences that demonstrate team working skills.
- Experience with in a similar industry (aerospace, defence or automotive sector experience) is beneficial, however this role also offers an exciting opportunity to graduates looking to develop within an established and high‑performing manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities, showing concentration and focus, with an interest in engineering.
