Sous Chef

The Sous Chef role at Aria Healthcare in Denham is responsible for creating fresh, nutritious meals for the residents. You will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and showcase your creative flair in high-level hospitality. As a Sous Chef at Aria Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and serving of high-quality, nutritious meals for the residents. Your duties will include menu planning, food preparation, and leading a team of kitchen staff. You will need to have a strong understanding of healthcare catering and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider care team.

The role offers a 40-hour work week with no evening shifts and alternate weekends.

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings!

There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.

• The ideal candidate will have experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a healthcare or hospitality setting. You should possess strong culinary skills, a passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A relevant catering or hospitality qualification would be an advantage.
