Quantity Surveyor

A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a client-side background to become part of a well-established practice working across a diverse range of traditional projects, including healthcare, retail and food sectors.

The Quantity Surveyor

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work within a professional quantity surveying team delivering pre- and post-contract services across a range of schemes. This Quantity Surveyor position will suit someone looking to take the next step in their career, working in a collaborative environment with flexible working arrangements available.

To be considered for this Quantity Surveyor role, candidates must be located within a 45-50-minute commute of Derby. The consultancy prides itself on local delivery and close client relationships, so geographic proximity is essential.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a client-side or PQS environment
Strong background in traditional build projects
Experience in sectors such as healthcare, retail or food is advantageous
MRICS qualification is desired but not essential - support can be provided
Excellent cost management and client-facing skills
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties
