- A strong background in construction industry, supported by a minimum of three years' experience in finishing / internals management role
- Proven track record of working as a Finishing Manager for a reputable construction contractor
- Competent IT / software skills
- Comprehensive health and safety knowledge
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to organise and manage project schedules
- A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards
- Proven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively
- Knowledgeable of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and building processes
- Exceptional focus on detail to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications

TheOpportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to play a key role in the final delivery of a £12m healthcare facility in Derbyshire. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all internal finishing works, snagging and close‑out activities. The role requires strict adherence to building regulations and detailed project specifications to ensure the facility is delivered to the highest clinical and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inductions
- Tool box talks
- Site safety inductions
- Liaise with external stakeholders
- Conduct and attend routine site meetings
- Address any problems or disputes that arise throughout
- Reporting regularly and consistently to the Project Manager
- Recognise possible threats to the works, implementing strategies to address them
- Coordinate and manage daily site activities, overseeing workers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and healthcare‑specific regulatory requirements at all times
- Managing resources such as materials, equipment, and labor to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively
- Maintaining precise records of all project elements, such as contracts, permits, change orders, and communications
- Enhance and maintain positive client relationships by resolving concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with project developments
