Position: Senior Architectural Technician (Permanent)

Konker Group is recruiting for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary architectural practice in Derby that is entering a strong phase of growth.

Following the award of a design-led project late last year, the studio now needs to strengthen its technical team.

The practice delivers projects across a wide range of sectors, including food manufacturing, distribution centres, healthcare, innovation and research facilities, offices and sustainable developments.

Technical quality is a genuine priority here; projects are delivered to a higher standard than is typically expected, supported by a deeply experienced team.

The Role:

Senior Architectural Technician

This is a senior technical position, suited to an experienced Architectural Technician who enjoys being closely involved in delivery and problem-solving.

You'll be responsible for:

Producing and coordinating detailed technical drawing packages
Working closely with design teams, consultants and suppliers
Contributing to technical decision-making and buildability discussions
Supporting and mentoring more junior team members
Taking increasing ownership of projects as the role develops There is a clear opportunity to progress into leading teams and running projects for the right individual. The studio has a supportive, sociable culture with regular company-funded socials and team activities.

The Derby office is a recently renovated space with on-site parking, designed and delivered by the practice themselves.
