Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is recruiting a Document Controller for our client's site in Derby on a 6-month contract.

The role involves controlling and delivering smaller, lower-complexity projects or parts of project portfolios. Responsibilities include monitoring, reviewing, and reporting project status in line with the Project Management Plan and stakeholder requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver smaller, lower-complexity projects or project components effectively.
• Report project status as per project requirements.
• Manage and report variances to the project baseline and key performance indicators.
• Review project data, identify trends, highlight anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement effective controls according to company procedures to meet success criteria.
• Provide accurate reports to stakeholders within designated timelines.
• Manage risk and opportunity activities.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Membership in a professional body; working towards APMP qualification or similar.
• Experience in project management processes and lifecycle, with good understanding of project controls.
