Our client, a well-established and expanding engineering consultancy, is seeking an Associate Director to lead and grow their civils team in Derby. What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading the civil engineering team on a variety of exciting projects across retail, industrial, education, healthcare, and residential sectors
• Building and nurturing client relationships to secure new business and repeat work
• Driving team development by mentoring junior engineers and contributing to recruitment
• Overseeing project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and commercial success
• Collaborating closely with other disciplines and offices to create integrated, high-quality solutions

About You:

• A degree-qualified civil engineer (CEng or working towards Chartership)
• Proven experience in project leadership and business development
• Strong client network in the Derbyshire/Midlands region (or the drive to build one)
• A commercially aware and strategic mindset with a passion for team building
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-a natural leader and collaborator
