Senior Structural Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team and take a leading role in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions across a wide range of major infrastructure projects.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
Delivering design work, inspections, and construction site support on complex infrastructure schemes
Undertaking Concept and Feasibility Studies for multidisciplinary design projects
Carrying out structural analysis and design using tools such as Tekla, IDEA Stati

CA, and TEDDS, as well as producing detailed hand calculations
Preparing Calculations, CDM documentation, Basis of Design reports, Material Specifications, Scopes of Work, Technical Reports, and leading inter-discipline design coordination
Supervising, assisting, and mentoring junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth

🎯 What You’ll Need
Strong structural design expertise using British Standards, Eurocodes, and international codes
Degree-qualified (BEng or MEng) in Structural or Civil Engineering
Proven experience preparing bids, proposals, and developing strong client relationships
Solid experience in designing reinforced concrete and steel structures
Knowledge of seismic, dynamic, or extreme environmental loading (desirable)
Working knowledge of BIM workflows and software
