Our client is a well-established practice that's been operating since 1975 and now have multiple offices across the Midlands. They have been providing high quality detailed technical design on projects UK wide for a client base which include architects, developers and building owners. As well as mainstream structural design, they also specialise in unique and bespoke projects which include complex timber structures, theme park structures, sculptures, eco houses and river alterations.

They are now on the lookout for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team in their Derby office. In this role, you will be responsible delivering projects with detailed knowledge of structural design and detailing, producing preliminary design solutions and reviewing with clients, producing detailed designs, calculations, specifications and technical reviews.

You will also attend design, project progress and client meetings, liaise with contractors, clients, third party organisations and stakeholders, answer any queries in relation to technical detailing, manage project cost and programme, write structural appraisal reports, supervise Technicians and junior Engineers and where appropriate, business development through managing existing clients.

The ideal candidate will hold 4+ year's experience and be chartered or working towards chartership with IStruct

E or ICE.
