PROJECT ENGINEER
Project Engineer (x2) – Groundworks & RC Structures

Start Date : 19/01/2026
We are seeking two experienced Project Engineers to join our team and deliver a multi-disciplinary civil engineering project across our Derby and Corby sites. The project involves groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) works and offers the opportunity to work on a high-value, technically challenging development.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Manage site works to high standards of safety, quality, and performance in accordance with project procedures and standards.
 
* Lead “setting to work” briefings with a focus on safe and quality-driven execution.
 
* Direct and prioritize daily site activities in line with project requirements.
 
* Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and QA documentation.
 
* Carry out limited setting out duties as required.
 
* Supervise site engineers and manage sub-contractors effectively.
 
* Participate in early design reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
 
* Implement and monitor quality assurance through control, inspection, and test plans.
 
* Promote a strong culture of safe working practices on site.
 
* Support the Sub-Agent/Agent with day-to-day operations and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Experience
 
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
 
* Strong background in groundworks and reinforced concrete.
 
* Experience managing high-value construction packages.
 
* Competent in preparing and managing site documentation.
 
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
 
* Valid CSCS card.
 
* BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or related discipline, or HNC/HND equivalent.
 
* Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
