Position: Finance Manager (Permanent)
Finance Manager – International Group | Derby | Hybrid | £60k–£65k + Car + Bonus

We are working with a rapidly expanding International company whose UK Headquarters are based in Derby. They are looking for a self motivated, Qualified Finance Manager who will support the Financial Controller and lead a team of Management Accountants across a broad and influential remit.

This position will put you at the centre of financial control, planning and performance, working closely with stakeholders across the business while shaping key financial processes and supporting Group-level reporting. This is not a BAU role.

As Finance Manager, you will:

• Lead and mentor a team of Management Accountants

• Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts

• Manage budgeting, forecasting and Group consolidation reporting

• Oversee Capex, fixed assets, project reporting and cashflow improvements

• Maintain strong financial controls and governance

• Support statutory accounts preparation and external audits

• Oversee VAT, Corporation Tax data provision and other compliance submissions

• Partner with operational teams including Supply Chain, Commercial Finance, AP & AR

• You’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance, strengthening controls and ensuring best-in-class reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

• Strong management accounting and financial control background

• Hands-on experience mentoring/managing a team

• Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups etc) and confident with ERP systems

• Ideally exposure to ERP implementations

• Highly organised, detail-focused and commercially aware

• A flexible and collaborative working style

• Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 DOE
