Eaton Syalon are working in exclusive partnership with our client in Derby to hire a Group Management Accountant. Our client is a leading global, dynamic service sector business based in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our client's ambitious growth strategy as they aim to double in size over the next five years. As the Group Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of multiple finance projects while contributing to the quarterly consolidation of management accounts across four companies in the group.

Ensuring accurate reporting and analysis and supporting the management team with critical financial information. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller to enhance systems and reporting, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts for the group.

* Partner with the Financial Controller on strategic initiatives and deliver key milestones

* Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and systems

* Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insightful commentary on variances

* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

* Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning

* Support year-end accounts and liaise with external accountants

* Assist with statutory reporting, including financial statements

Requirements:

We’re looking for a talented Management Accountant who enjoys a commercially focused role. You will be a technically strong Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE and possess strong Excel and analytical skills. You will work incredibly closely with key operations stakeholders so a strong commercial awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail are all important. Experience in statutory reporting and year end experience would be an advantageous but not essential
