Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker in the Derby area on a permanent basis. The position for the Senior Support Worker will need to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person centered care to all residents. This role is to work with 10-17 year olds with EBD.

This role does not offer sponsorship and you must hold a valid UK driving license.

The Senior Support Worker will be responsible for:
Helping Children and young people with leisure interests and skill development inside and outside the home.
Implementing personal care plans set out for Children and young people.
Assisting with day care activities. Communicating with other staff about Children and young people’ needs/activities.
Recording Children and young peoples’ needs/activities/behaviours in the home’s diary system.
Facilitating regular Service User meetings.
Carrying out key working sessions
Carrying out risk assessments and reviews
Shift planning and delegation of tasks
Conflict resolution and debriefs at the end of each shift

The Senior Support Worker will need:
Must be NVQ Level 3 Level 4 Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or QCF Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner qualified
Full UK driving license
Must have at least 2 years experience working with children with EBD and Learning Disabilities
Be willing to carry out personal care
Hold a full UK valid driving license
