£42,000 - £45,000 (Up to £21 p/hr) + OT – 1.5x + Private Medical Insurance + Weekly Bonus (£60 - £3,000 per year) + Company Van + Training & Development

Swadlincote (Workshop & Field Based)

Certain Advantage is hiring for a Plant Fitter based near Swadlincote.

This role is on a permanent basis and is both onsite in Swadlincote, as well as on-call – working out at client sites.

The Role:

Complete planned and reactive maintenance on piling rigs and other construction plant equipment
Manufacture and modify components
Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete fabrication and repair tasks
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
Work on an on-call rota for field-based activities, with the remainder of your time being spent at the workshop in Swadlincote The Individual:

This role is for someone with experience working on Heavy Plant, as well as a strong background with hydraulic systems.

We’re looking for people who can show:

Experience as a Plant Fitter, working on heavy construction plant
Good knowledge of hydraulic systems
Minimum level 2 qualification in Plant Maintenance, or equivalent
Full UK Driving License The Benefits:

Plenty of overtime available at 1.5x
Monday – Friday 6:00 – 15:00
