Mechanical Assembler

Location: Derbyshire

We’re hiring for a Mechanical Assembler to join a forward-thinking company that specialises in high-quality manufacturing and fabrication at their site based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak.
This is a great opportunity to work within a structured engineering workshop, operating a variety of industrial machinery to ensure products are manufactured to a high standard.

 * £15.03 - £17.40 per hour
 
* Rotating shifts: 5:00 – 14:30 / 14:30 – 00:00 Monday - Thursday
 
* Overtime available at an enhanced rates

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Assembler?
 
* Assisting in the assembly of large-scale mechanical components, ensuring accuracy and quality
 
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions to complete tasks
 
* Using hand and power tools to assemble parts efficiently and safely
 
* Performing quality checks on finished components to ensure they meet specifications
What do you need?
 
* Previous mechanical assembly experience is essential
 
* The ability to read and follow technical drawings
 
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
 
* The ability to work well in a team and meet production targets
