Warehouse Operative

Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Picking Operative to join our client based in Denby, near Ripley, DE5. The prime purpose of the Picking Operative is to pick profile lengths ready for distribution.

Picking Operatives

Hours:

• Static Days 6am - 6pm on a 4 on 4 off rotation

Picking Operatives Pay:

• Days rate: 12.80 per hour plus 19.20 per hour for overtime

The job roles and responsibilities of the Picking Operatives include:

• Participate in the processing of orders; including picking, packing, labelling, and storing of the product.
• Help to maintain organisation, cleanliness, and restock.
• Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control procedures.
• Promote a positive work environment and maintain safety, always.
• Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Preferred knowledge of hand scanners
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Key skills required for the role of Picking Operatives:

• Attention to detail
• Previous experience of picking is required
• Working as part of a team

This job operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role routinely uses heavy equipment. To perform this job you must be able to continuously lift and/or move 25kgs.
