Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for our client, a well established and highly successful organisation, for an Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business operating across multiple markets in a fast paced environment. Your new role Preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
VAT compliance and support with year-end reporting activities.
Oversight of sales ledger, purchase ledger and bank reconciliations.
Cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
Analysis and reporting of key financial and operational KPIs.Assisting with the implementation and continuous improvement of financial controls and processes.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the finance team.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support
What you'll need to succeed
Fully Qualified Accountant Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience. Advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting software.
Experience working within a dynamic, commercially focused environment.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
