Caretaker, Facility Maintenance, Cleaning Services

THE EMPLOYER IS: CREGGAN NEIGHBOURHOOD PARTNERSHIPEnsure Creggan Neighbourhood Partnership is clean, safe, secure, and well-maintained for all users.

The caretaker will support the wider team in the daily operations of the building, assists with room set-ups, carries out basic maintenance, and helps create a welcoming environment for the community.

• Keyholder - opening and locking of centre.
• Daily health & safety centre checks and adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Set up of facilities for onsite programmes.
• Assisting with other responsibilities within the building when required.
• Maintain upkeep of building and stock replenishment.
• Assisting members of the community with any enquiries.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, minor repairs, and general grounds maintenance.
• Ensure that all facilities are in good condition and address any issues promptly.

• Basic maintenance skills - performing minor repairs and general upkeep.
• Communication skills - reporting larger maintenance issues clearly.
• Teamwork and collaboration - working effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Health and safety awareness - knowing and following correct procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good organisational skills.
• An openness to work evenings and weekends when needed.
