The Role

Join Almac Central Services as a Senior Software Engineer and help design, build, and evolve the platforms that power our business. You’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery—turning complex requirements into elegant, resilient software—while shaping standards and architecture for systems that must be robust, scalable, and secure. You’ll work across the stack with engineers, infrastructure, and data specialists, using your judgement to make pragmatic technical decisions that ship value quickly without compromising quality.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of robust software solutions.
• Ensure architectural alignment, scalability, and high availability.
• Review code and designs for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams to maintain system integrity.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Document key stages of the software development lifecycle.

If you have a third-level qualification in Computer Science or a related subject, and can demonstrate strong experience in Java, Spring, SQL, Angular or React (full‑stack role) and the full software development lifecycle, we want to hear from you.
