Wearecurrentlyrecruitingfora Solicitor–Corporate and Commercialtojoinourclientbasedintheir Devizesofficeandsometimesintheir London office .
Specific Rolesand Responsibilities :- Thesuccessfulcandidatewillperformcorporateandcommercialwork,encompassingthefollowingcoreareas:
- Saleandpurchaseofbusinesses(bothassetsandsharestransactions)
- Companystructuresandgroupre-structuring
- Partnershipandshareholders’agreements
- Commercial contracts;and
- Corporategovernanceandadministration
- Toprovidesupport,when required,regardingotherareasofcommercialworktothewiderfirm.
- Buildingonpersonalandteamprofilebyattendingnetworkingevents,producingarticlesandmarketingmaterials.
- Developingunderstandingofcommercialandcorporatelawandassistingwithlaw,policyandpracticeupdatesfortheteam.
- Tocarry-outanyotherdutiesandresponsibilitiesthatmayberequiredbythe
Headof
Department.
- Tobeactiveinmarketingtheservicesofthefirmandthespecificteam,itsimageandethos(inliaisonwith
Headof
Departmentandotherpartners).
Experienceandknowledge:
- Approx.
2+years
PQEincorporateandcommercialmattersatregionalor
Cityofficelevel. - Anenthusiasmtocontributetothevaluesandethosofthefirmandthecommunityinwhichitworks.
- Independenceofthoughtandadesiretobringexperience,knowledgeandideastothewiderteam.
- Experienceofdraftingcorporateandcommercialdocumentation.
- Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
- Commerciality/business acumen.
- Acommitmenttoequality,diversityandinclusion.
Qualifications:
- Admissionasa Solicitorentitledtopracticein England &Wales.
- Currentpractisingcertificate(orentitlementtoobtainone) fromthe
LawSociety.
