Care Deputy Manager – Dewsbury

Care Tech Community Services was established in 1993 and provides support for people with complex and challenging behaviours associated with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illness and neurological conditions. We support people to live independently within their own homes and in residential care. Main

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the assessments of individual service users, drawing up their service plans in conjunction with other professionals.
  • Review, reassess and change service plans to ensure they remain up‑to‑date and meet individual needs.
  • Allocate implementation and recording of service plans to staff members, providing training where required.
  • Offer individual support and assess specialist support needs when necessary.
  • Enable service users to express their views and incorporate these into service plan objectives and provision.
  • Develop training opportunities for service users to acquire new skills.
  • Communicate information to all service users on their contracts, quality measurements and complaints procedure.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional care at all times.
  • Foster positive contact between the centre and families/carers, encouraging active participation in planning.
  • Lead and manage staffing as required.

  • Caring, fun, and friendly nature, enjoying going out and about.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication and writing skills.
  • Experience working with adults with autism or learning disabilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and a passion for making a positive difference.
  • Health & Social Level 3 Adults qualification (essential).

Additional Information
  • Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment. The disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
  • T&C’s will be paid following the successful completion of a six‑month probationary period.
