£15 - £18.00 per hour

Planet Recruitment is working with an innovative, forward‑thinking, employee‑engaged company that requires an Assembly Technician to join their existing team on a long‑term temporary assignment which could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

The primary role of the Technician is to repair devices of the whole product range and provide technical support to customers & internal teams. The technician reports to the Team Leader Technician, who ensures all training on company products is given and all procedures are explained.

• Perform in‑house diagnosis, servicing, repair and testing of customer returned products using established procedures.
• Perform maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products.
• Troubleshoot and provide recommended resolutions.
• Prepare clear quotes and repair reports.
• Coordinate logistics for service devices, including custom clearance paperwork.
• Carry out other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

• Strong knowledge of measurement units and electronic parts.
• Proficiency with computers:
  Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Professional and effective communication skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Fluency in English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in device repairs.
• Assembly knowledge, use of hand tools, small component rework.
