About the Role

To work as part of a team delivering the Council’s Capital Programme of Flood Alleviation Schemes and fulfilling Local Authority duties under the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Council’s Capital Programme of Flood Alleviation Schemes.
• Fulfill Local Authority duties under the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.

Qualifications

• Engineer - Professional qualification at IEng (or CIWEM equivalent) or equivalent experience and working towards CEng.
• Senior Engineer - Professional qualification at CEng or CIWEM equivalent.
