Senior Enablement Worker – Enablement Worker, Mid Ross Care at Home

Band 4, 31.10 / Week. 4 on 4 off working rotation. Permanent.

Based at the Dingwall Health Centre, Dingwall, IV15 9QS
.

Responsibilities
  • Support and supervise a small group of workers within a defined geographical area on a day-to-day basis, assisting multi-disciplinary staff and Enablement Officers within the District Health and Social Care Integrated Team.
  • Assist the delivery of high standard enablement support to individuals and their families/carers, focusing on maximising independence and supporting the individual to remain in their own home.
  • Undertake simple reviews of enablement plans and support workers in adjusting and adapting plans as client needs change (e.g., washing, dressing, mobility).
  • Work within the team under direction from the enablement officer, independently managing a designated caseload and working unsupervised on delegated duties, with access to advice and support as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council required within 6 months of commencing in post.
  • Experience in supporting individuals to achieve agreed goals through an enablement approach is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
