Senior accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant. The Senior accountant will be responsible of cost accounting systems ensuring correct and timely running of necessary cost reports and inventories. Main duties will also include cost analysis and monitoring processes to identify errors and dysfunctions and suggest alternative solutions and ways of improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Record all transactions belongs to the factory and brand company as per the IFRS.
• Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor
• Analyzing data collected and recording results
• Analyzing changes in product design methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
• Analyzing actual costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
• Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
• Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
• Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
• Maintaining Cost Accounting System
• Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger
• Conducts physical inventories and monitors cycle count program
• Coordinate between inventory, barcoding, and warehouse departments to be sure that all transaction passed on time and as per the correct financial dimension.
• Analyses and monitor the differences between the actual and budgeted figures and justify it.
• Released the payroll for the factory and brand staff according the WPS, with coordination with the HR.
• Prepare the financial statements reports on monthly basis with follow the deadline.
• Discuss the monthly financial report with the factory manager and explain the figures with necessary actions with him.
• Record all the general journal for the factory and brand company on time.
• Check the service cost and material consumption and post it.
• Follow the monthly and yearly closing process.
• Lead the audit requirements during the end of the year.

Requirements

• Diploma in accounting
• Min 8 years' experience in the field of accounting
• Min 3 years as a Senior Accountant
• Ability to work within and provide support to senior management within a diverse and often complex business
• Being able to quickly understand the issues impacting on each business division.
• Ability to lead and drive change through the business
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft package, outlook and accounting software.
