Rigging / Lifting Supervisor

Qatar

• No. of Vacancies: 8
• Salary: QAR 5,000 – 5,500 per month
• Contract Duration: 12 Months (renewable)
• Client:
  Grade A Contractor based in Qatar

The Lifting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all lifting operations at the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and approved lifting plans. The role requires strong leadership, sound technical knowledge of lifting equipment, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with lifting activities.

• Education:
  
  Diploma/ITI
• Certification: 5‑Day Third‑Party Lifting Supervisor Training (must attach valid certificate)
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects
• Language Proficiency:
  English and Hindi (both required)
• Middle East experience will be an added advantage

• Develop and implement detailed Lift Plans for all lifting operations.
• Coordinate and supervise all lifting activities in compliance with the approved Lifting Plan.
• Assess heavy and critical lifts to ensure proper planning, selection of cranes, lifting gear, and supervision.
• Conduct safety briefings with the lifting team (crane operators, riggers, signalmen) prior to all lifting operations.

• Valid 5‑Day Third‑Party Lifting Supervisor Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in civil construction projects as a Lifting Supervisor.
• Proven ability to manage lifting operations safely and efficiently.
