Quantity Surveyor
Quantity surveyors manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. They aim to minimize costs and risks of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. They also prepare contracts and documents.
Salary Range:
QAR 120,000 –
QAR 240,000 per year. Benefits often include housing allowances, transportation, and health insurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Senior-level: 10+ years with ASHGHAL projects experience.
- Infrastructure and building experience.
- Cost estimation and budgeting.
- Tender preparation and contract administration.
- BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation.
- Knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, JCT contract types.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in software such as CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel, Primavera, or Bluebeam.
- Understanding of construction law and procurement processes.
- Professional accreditation (required): UPDA (Grade A preferred).
- RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Full-time, Permanent.
