Joinery site engineer
Experience:
1–3 years in interior fit‑out or joinery projects
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Fit‑Out Site Engineer to oversee interior fit‑out projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site supervision and a passion for interior fit‑out projects, including retail, residential, hospitality, or commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the fit‑out site, including supervising site activities and ensuring compliance with plans.
- Plan work schedules and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
- Coordination
- Liaise with architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the project's smooth execution.
- Address and resolve technical issues on‑site.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and designs.
- Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets and expenses.
- Ensure efficient use of materials and manpower.
- Documentation
- Prepare and maintain detailed records, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and as‑built drawings.
- Health and Safety
- Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations on‑site.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem‑solving skills to handle on‑site challenges effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software:
AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fit‑out or interior finishing projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.

LocationDoha – Must be able to commute or relocate before starting work (required).

ExperienceFit‑out site: 2 years (required).
License / CertificationLicence (required).
