A successful safety officer in this demanding industry requires a specific blend of knowledge and practical skills:
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and procedures relevant to construction.
- Proven experience in a safety role, particularly within construction or industrial settings.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC), IOSH Managing Safely, or any relevant Safety Certification.
