Lifting Supervisor
The Lifting Supervisor will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all lifting operations at site to ensure they are carried out safely and efficiently. The role requires strict compliance with LEEA guidelines, approved lifting plans, project specifications, and HSE standards within an Oil & Gas environment.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and method statements
Ensure full compliance with LEEA standards, client requirements, and project HSE policies
Coordinate closely with crane operators, riggers, engineers, and site management
Verify the certification, condition, capacity, and suitability of cranes, lifting gear, and accessories before use
Ensure all lifting equipment is inspected, color-coded, and valid as per project requirements
Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and pre-lift briefings
Monitor lifting activities and intervene to stop any unsafe acts or conditions
Report incidents, near misses, and non-conformances related to lifting operations
Maintain lifting records, permits, and documentation as required by the project
Requirements & Qualifications:Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
Valid LEEA Certification (Mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor
Proven Oil & Gas project experience (Mandatory)
Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, cranes, rigging practices, and risk assessments
Good understanding of HSE standards and safe lifting practices
Ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
Duration: 1 Year (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
