Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to join our team in Doha, Qatar, for a prestigious high‑rise project. The ideal candidate will lead architectural design reviews, ensure compliance with project requirements, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver world‑class design solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead architectural design and design management for high‑rise projects from concept to IFC stage.
- Review and approve detailed design and IFC documentation, ensuring adherence to project standards and client requirements.
- Manage multi‑disciplinary coordination (Architecture, MEP, Structural, Interior Design) throughout all project phases.
- Oversee design review processes for architecture and interior design at detailed design and IFC levels.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Prepare and review scope documents, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international best practices.
- Participate in weekly/monthly reporting and client meetings.
- Support proposal development and contribute to RFP responses when required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Applied Sciences not accepted).
- Minimum 10 years in architectural design and/or buildings project management consultancy.
- Minimum 10 years in large and/or international firms as Architect or Senior Architect.
- Minimum 2 projects with hands‑on experience in tower design and/or design review.
- Minimum 5 large projects completed from Concept to IFC level (Design or Design Management).
- Minimum 5 years in architecture and interior design review at detailed design and IFC level.
- Minimum 5 years in multi‑disciplinary coordination (AR/MEP/ST/).
- Proven experience in scope writing and reporting.
- Strong time‑management skills; results‑driven with minimal supervision.
- Highly adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks fluidly.
- Language:
Fluency in English (preferably as first language). - All qualifications to be supported by reference letters, portfolio, and CV.
